Warm, wet environment is ideal for the growth of fungi and bacteria. And where do you find such an environment in all its glory – at a health club where a sweaty workout is the order of the day. It really doesn't matter when you are visiting a a high end health club or something that is lower down the price scale – you can suffer from skin infections at any health club. So, you need to exercise caution whenever you visit a health club.

To know why your skin is so susceptible to an infection when you visit a health clubs you must know that according to experts at least 1 out 3 people suffer from a skin infection and this can be spread to others. This is why, you are very vulnerable to skin diseases at health clubs. Infections such as jock itch, fungal nail infection and athlete's foot are common amongst people who regularly visit health clubs. Some of them also suffer from serious infections such as ring worms and infection such as herpes that effect your sexual health.

The key is to stay clean. You can escape bacteria at health clubs but what you can ensure is that you can clean them off after a workout session.
